|Ms Mc Carthy's Class||
We have had lots of fun on the lead up to Hallowe'en. We went on a maths trail around the quad outside our classroom. We put on our "maths eyes" and looked for patterns, matching things that go together, counting and measuring. It was a lot of fun.
And here are two very happy boys after winning Bingo Oíche Shamhna. We used a lot of the vocabulary we have been doing since September - such as body parts, as well as our Hallowe'en words.
"Cé tusa?" "Úúúúúúúú. Is mise an púca!" "Is tusa....." We had a great game trying to guess who was being the ghost.
We did lots of art on the lead up to Hallowe'en. We did cutting and sticking with two colour pattern pumpkins, 3 colour pattern witches' legs and we loved our fabric and fiber witch masks. Can you guess who is hiding behind the mask?
I hope everyone is having a happy and safe Hallowe'en. See you on Monday!
