We've been having fun getting ready for the Art Exhibition, which will be on the evening of Monday 3rd of April. We will have some new and some older art work on display and families are welcome to wander around all of the classrooms to see the fantastic work the children have done. We will be finishing off some projects next week, so if you would like your child to wear their tracksuit for the week that is fine.
Check out the muscles here as the children squeeeeeeeze their clay! We are making springtime nests.

We also made some lovely presents and cards for our mammies, ready for that special day on Sunday. The children were so excited about bringing them home.
We had a fantastic game for morning activities this week, called Hedbanz. It is great for language development and deduction skills and, of course, it is so fun!
Rocaí Rua had great fun visiting your houses. We are delighted he seems to be behaving himself these days! It is always the first question the children ask. Here are the children talking about their visit, this week and last week.
Seachtain na Gaeilge was great fun. We had lots of different activities to do. On Monday, Benina came and did Kids Zumba with us, as Gaeilge. It was loads of fun and we had a really calm morning after it as they were all exhausted!!!
We had a lovely visit from author Máiréad Ní Ghráda, who read us her book "Máire agus a Mála." We did some actions songs with her and she introduced us to her puppets also.
We had some very special visitors from Rang 2! They read us "An Leabhar Mor Glas." There were two very proud little brothers in our class, who couldn't wait to get up to give their big brothers a hug!
